Advanced Scene Study Class
June 21, 2006 -- I am now enrolled in an advanced acting program at Profiles Theatre. It's taught by the theatre's associate artistic director, Darrell Cox, and Steppenwolf's casting director, Erica Daniels. The six-week course focuses on a Meisner-based approach to scene work. The class is limited to 10 students and auditions are required for admission. We work in pairs, rehearsing and working a scene over the six-week period and performing it in the final class.
