About Me (And You)
Whether you’re an organization or an individual, I can help you cut through the clutter and tell your story more effectively. That means creating an authentic connection with your audience and expressing your goals, your ideas and what you offer more clearly, creatively and effectively.
Here are some of the ways I can help you:
- For corporate clients, I devise creative strategies and develop materials (everything from speeches to video scripts to web copy) to help you engage employees and customers, drive performance and build your business.
- For individuals, I arm you with practical techniques to help you become a more skilled, confident communicator so you can enjoy more success in the workplace and in life.
- And for everybody, I make learning fun, with workshops and books that take the best lessons from the world of show business to help you better navigate your business, through more effective communication, presentation skills and storytelling.
Who am I? I’ve been working independently for more than 15 years. Before that I was a vice president at Ogilvy Public Relations and a press secretary for a state attorney general, among other things.
I am also a Second City-trained actor and writer who has appeared in nearly 200 stage and commercial productions.
I bring those worlds together to deliver fresh approaches to my clients’ challenges and help them stand out in the marketplace.
Two roads diverged in a wood … and I took them both.
After a couple of decades in business, I decided to try my hand at acting. What began as a side-interest soon developed into a second full-time career.
But a funny thing happened on the way to becoming an actor. The more I studied and performed the more I realized that business and acting are not so different.
Connecting with an audience, telling stories, expressing ideas more creatively – these are all important tools business people can use to communicate more persuasively and successfully.
Either way, it’s been a good road. And that has made all the difference.
